Information We Collect
ABAATE, Inc. collects information from our website users, e-mail newsletter subscribers and customers.

Subscriptions and Registrations
We ask users to provide their contact information when subscribing to our e-mail newsletters, participating in client sponsored webinars, responding to surveys and visiting certain areas of our website. In the process of registration, we ask for their name, email address, job title, whether they are a retailer or a supplier and the country in which they reside.

Internally, we use this information to communicate with users to provide requested information and improve content to our website and e-newsletter. We also use this information for marketing purposes.

Recipients of our email newsletters may cease receiving them by unsubscribing using the opt-out link at the bottom of the email newsletter or by emailing info@ABAATE.com.

Surveys and Contests
On occasion, we conduct surveys and contests and invite our website users, advertisers, and others from the community to provide information. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary so participants have a choice whether to disclose requested contact information, which may include name, mailing address, zip code, job title and industry segment. Contact information is used to notify winners and award prizes and to monitor and improve the use of the website. Contact information may also be shared with third party sponsors of the surveys or contests.

Automated Data Collection
Our website, e-newsletters and other electronic products and services have features that automatically collect information from people using these products. This helps us deliver content specific to the customers’ interests and preferences. This allows us to create new products and services that will better serve the needs of our customers.

In addition, we use web beacons provided by our ad-serving partners to help manage our advertising for ABAATE, Inc. products and services. We also use an email delivery company to send emails and e-newsletters. Web beacons and cookies may be used in such email messages to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and how customers use our website and other products and services.

Correcting or Updating Personal Information
If customers’ information changes, or if the customer no longer desires our products, we provide a way to correct or update their personal data. Customers may send an email to info@ABAATE.com with their request.

Opt-Out
ABAATE, Inc. provides an Opt-Out mechanism for each electronic product it transmits. Once a subscriber Opts-Out of a specific product, their information is kept in a separate file and they will no longer receive the product unless they re-subscribe.

Security
We use reasonable precautions to protect information about our customers while it is stored on our servers or in transit to our vendors processing on our behalf. Whenever sensitive information (such as credit card data) is collected, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “HTTPS” at the beginning of the address of the web page. Only employees who need information to perform a specific task are granted access to personally identifiable information.
