Our Mission

Our Mission

Our Mission

It is the mission of ABAATE to decrease instances of bullying among children of all ages and adults in a variety of circumstances through a combination of educational programs focusing on avoidance, communication and victim refusal strategies alongside legislative and lobbying efforts to mandate empowerment of victim self-defense training and actions.

Our Vision

Our Mission

Our Mission

ABAATE supports a future where bullying is reduced or eradicated through the removal of the potential victim pool, and where the societal reduction of personal crimes is a realized long term benefit that increases in impact across time

Our Outlook

Our Mission

Generational Impact

We believe that every individual, child or adult, has the right to defend themselves. We believe the only thing more noble than self-defense is defending someone else who is too weak or too scared to do so.

Generational Impact

Generational Impact

Generational Impact

The research we've conducted, and continue to validate, shows that the Zero Tolerance program has been used incorrectly and that the end result is a generation of children afraid to defend themselves, or convinced that doing so is wrong.

The Result

Generational Impact

WTF-Squared or WTF2

As a result of now over two decades of our children being taught that it's wrong to defend themselves, we're seeing potential victims in greater numbers than ever before. We've created a generation+ of people who don't/won't  fight back.

WTF-Squared or WTF2

Generational Impact

WTF-Squared or WTF2

While most people believe it means "What the f**k?," we use WTF twice:

Walk away, Talk away, Fight if you must.

If you must Fight, then WTF means Win The Fight.

WTF2 encourages children (and adults) to learn avoidance first; to learn and use communication skills / intervention second; and self-defense / defense of another as a last resort.
